    Tips: Reasons for abnormal suction of AC contactor

    • Since the power supply voltage of the control loop is lower than 85% of the rated voltage, the electromagnetic force generated by the solenoid coil is very small, and the movable iron core cannot be quickly attracted by the static iron core, causing the contactor to be slowly attracted or not tightly attracted to absorb. At this time, the power supply voltage of the control loop should be adjusted to the rated operating voltage.
    • Insufficient spring pressure causes abnormal suction of the contactor. The reaction force of the spring is too large, resulting in slow absorption. The contact spring pressure is too large, causing the iron core to fail to close completely. The spring pressure and release pressure of the contact are too high, causing the contact to fail to close completely. The solution is to adjust the spring pressure appropriately and replace the spring if necessary.
    • Because the gap between the moving and static iron cores is too large, the movable part is stuck, the rotating shaft is rusted or deformed, causing the contactor to suck and close abnormally. During the processing, the movable iron core and the static iron core can be disassembled for inspection, the gap can be adjusted, the shaft and support rods can be cleaned, and accessories can be replaced if necessary.
    • Due to long-term frequent collisions, the surface of the core plate is uneven and expands outward along the thickness of the laminate. At this time, if necessary, files can be used to trim and replace the core.
    • The short-circuit ring is broken, causing abnormal noise from the iron core. In this case, the short-circuit ring of the same size should be replaced.
