    Tips: How to determine if the motor is suitable for star delta starter

    1. It is required that the motor is an ordinary motor and the windings can be changed to star-delta connection in the junction box. The operating voltage of star connection and delta connection is a multiple of 1.732, and the normal operating voltage is equal to the rated value of the delta connection.
    2. The load when the motor starts should be no-load, light load is the best, the maximum starting load should not be greater than the medium-load state, otherwise it will lead to failure to start.
    3. The transformer and line capacity should be enough to allow the motor to start star-delta (the transformer and line capacity should not be less than 3 times the rated capacity of the motor during star-delta startup). At the same time, it should be considered that the voltage drop of the line when the motor starts will not affect the same line the rest of the electrical loads will not be abnormal.

    Based on the above points, it is required that the power supply, motor connection, motor load status, etc. must meet the requirements of star-delta starter.
