    Tips: DC-DC boost converter basic working principle

    The basic working principle of a DC-DC boost converter is to step up a lower DC voltage to a higher DC voltage through switching mode power supply technology. Its core components include an inductor, a switch (usually a MOSFET), a diode and an output capacitor. The following is the basic working process of Boost Converter:

    1. Energy storage stage: When the switch (such as MOSFET) is closed, current passes through the inductor, and the inductor begins to store energy.
    2. Energy release stage: When the switch is turned off, the stored energy in the inductor is released to the output terminal through the diode, increasing the output voltage.

    By rapidly switching on and off, the inductor cycles between storing and releasing energy, causing the output voltage to be higher than the input voltage.

    Interested in your boost converter
    I'm interested in your boost converter but I'm looking to see if it works in an isolated or non-isolated way, we want to use it on a 12V system with a common ground and want to make sure this will work, can the 24V ground and 12V ground be connected together?

    It works in a Non-isolated mode, and the input and output grounds can be shared and connected together, No problem.
    DC-DC power converter doesn't heat up, it works well
    The excavator battery 25V is connected to DC-DC boost converter to 12V, connected to cigarette lighter to charge the cell phone, in addition to a small 12V fan, works perfectly, no heat.

    The converter step up 12 volt to 24 volt
    I want to do a small solar project at home! I bought a solar kit from store not know the power inverter was a 24 volt and the battery I pick was 12 volt so this converter was a very quick way on fixing my problem and was very easy to set up! Very well made it doesn’t even get hot.
