    Applications

Tension meters are instruments that measure tension in cable, fiber, belts and webs, or sheets. ATO tension meter mainly used in belt tension measurement can also be applied to measure the tension of objects such as tapes, and wires. Widely applied in industries of automobile, textile, cables, wires, plastic films, paper, and printing.

Tips: Precautions when using the belt tension meter

    1. The calibration of belt tension meter must be calibrated according to the standard method, otherwise, it will cause the measurement error in the instrument. Keep in mind that the measuring head must be removed from the belt when zeroing, and the jaw knob must be completely loosened. Moreover, the belt tension meter should be calibrated regularly.
    2. If the belt tension meter will not be used for a long time, it is best to take out the battery to prevent the battery from rotting or leaking and causing damage to the instrument.
    3. The belt tension gauges of different measuring heads will be different with the rotation of the engine, which is caused by different internal loads on the crankshaft during rotation.
    4. Keep in mind that the measuring head must be removed before rotating the machine shaft. If a long-term measurement is performed, it is best to calibrate a zero every 10 minutes.
