Tips: How to determine the flow of industrial peristaltic pump?

1. Flow rate of the industrial peristaltic pump is usually determined according to the process required by the application. In the case of meeting the process requirements, the median value of requirements is taken. The demand flow value should not be selected too high. Although a high flow can increase the speed of liquid, it is likely to require a larger industrial peristaltic pump to meet it. As a result, the volume of peristaltic pump will increase, the power will increase, and the cost will increase. If the demand flow value is too low, it may take longer to complete the liquid injection, and the efficiency cannot be satisfied.
2. The demand flow rate shall be affected by related parameters. Such as the loss of flow when the viscosity and specific gravity of liquid are large. Also consider the flow loss caused by the increase in lift, suction and decrease in temperature. According to the amount of loss, an industrial peristaltic pump with a larger flow is appropriately selected. If the relevant specifications are too different from the clean water, it is needs to test them through experiments to get an accurate reference flow rate.
