NEMA design B electric induction motor or asynchronous motor is 5 hp, three phase, 3450rpm, 1.15SF, 182TC rolled steel frame with double shielded bearings, C face footed mounting. Each features a totally enclosed fan cooled motor enclosure design, which helps resist contamination by preventing air from moving freely between the inside and outside of the frame. You can also choose an open drip proof enclosure motor that runs cooler and does not overheat.

Tips: Variable frequency speed control of AC Induction Motor
According to the speed formula of induction motor, it can be seen that when the slip s remains constant, the motor speed nis basically proportional to the power frequency f. Therefore, changing the frequency f can regulate the speed of induction motor smoothly. Changing the frequency of power supply is a economical speed regulation method, and it is also one of most popular ways of induction motor speed control.
Variable frequency speed control is a way to change the power frequency of motor stator and then change its synchronous speed. The main equipment of variable frequency speed control system is frequency converter or variable frequency drive (VFD) that provides frequency conversion for the power supply. The variable frequency drives can be divided into two categories: AC-DC-AC VFDs and AC-AC VFDs.

Installation and use problems of VFD
I have a few other questions:
1. I am installing the VFD in an IP55 enclosure and I need to add 250V indicator lights on the enclosure door.
Is it ok to connect one leg of  the light to U terminal and the other to neutral to indicate the motor is running?
2. In my country we use PME, that means the neutral is bonded to earth.
Is it ok to connect the earth that has been bonded to neutral to the earth terminal of the VFD unit?

ATO Responded
1. If you want to install a running indicator light on the door panel when the VFD is running, you can use the VFD relay output signal to control it.
The terminal is TA/TB/TC (TA-TB: NO contact), the corresponding parameter is P4.12, set P4.12=0 (VFD running).
2. In this case, you can directly connect your local ground wire to the ground wire of the VFD (terminal marked E), or not ground.
The 5hp AC induction motor satisfies my needs very well
I bought this 5hp AC induction motor for general position control. After using it, I think it meets my requirements. I recommend you to buy it.
