    Hydraulic Hand Pump Usage

    1. Connect the high-pressure oil pipe female joint of the main pump and the male joint of the sub-machine oil pressure cylinder, and tighten them.
    2. Tighten the oil return switch of the pump clockwise, shake the handle repeatedly to advance piston until the work is completed.
    3. After completion, loosen the oil return switch counterclockwise to reset the piston.

Tips: Working principle of hydraulic hand pump.

The cam is rotated by the motor. When the cam pushes the plunger to move upward, the sealing volume formed by the plunger and the cylinder is reduced, and the oil is squeezed out from the sealing volume and discharged to the required place through the one-way valve. When the cam rotates to the descending part of the curve, the spring forces the plunger downward to form a certain degree of vacuum, and the oil in the tank enters the sealing volume under the action of atmospheric pressure. The cam makes the plunger rise and fall continuously, the sealing volume decreases and increases periodically, and the pump continuously absorbs and discharges oil.

Hydraulic hand pump is easy to install.
I was really surprised to receive such a small hydraulic hand pump. I replaced the connector on the hose with my own portable power type connector, so I can directly connect it to my larger press, making it easy to use with my power tools. Installation is really convenient! It's really a bit bad to have to work manually! As long as you know you meet the specifications, you won't have any trouble. If you are a beginner in these types of tools, please note that there are many accessories on the market that look very similar, but do not swap them.

Does the knob on the side set the max pressure?
I ordered this hydraulic hand pump and received it. Does the knob on the side set the max pressure? Or is it a relief valve? Do I need hydraulic fluid to use with press? Or is it filled?

    ATO Responded
It is Release Valve. The hydraulic hand pump is filled and ready to use upon receipt.
