Tips: Structure of electromagnetic relay

Three core parts of electromagnetic relay are electromagnetic system, contact system, transmission mechanism and restoration mechanism.

Electromagnetic system: it is also known as induction mechanism. The electromagnetic system consists of iron core which is made of soft magnetic material, magnetic circuit which is composed with yoke and armature, as well as the coil. When powering on, the electromagnetic system will be provided with magnetism. It is a core part of the electromagnetic relay.
Contact system: it is also known as actuation mechanism. The contract system is assembled by different types of contact springs or contact chips in an insulated way to decide conducting part of the circuit.
Transmission and restoration mechanism: they are also known as intermediate comparison mechanisms. The transmission mechanism is designed to transmit movement of armature to contact spring when the coil is powered on. Contact spring is moved by the contact spring which is connected to the armature or moved by the armature.

Contactors are widely used in industrial equipment. It is a common application to control 110V/120V/220V/240V AC contactors with 12V/24V/36V DC relays. Users can use this method to control unsafe voltages. This video will show you how to use AC contactor with a relay at safe voltage.

Reasonable price for 4PDT electromagnetic relay

Hard to find 4PDT electromagnetic relay at a great price! It works great for 24 V DC applications. I use them for converting intercom doorbells over to video doorbells for my customers, but keeping the intercom chime in use.

Small unit, but works well.

Bought two of this small relay. Once received the units, I installed it and the connection was no problem. I use the relays to control the LED lights. Works as expected. Great!
