Tips: Working principle of hot runner temperature controller
The hot runner temperature controller is a device that continuously maintains the required temperature value. It mainly detects the temperature of the hot runner through the Microprogrammed Control Unit (MCU) in the controller, then processes the internal data to output the appropriate proportion of power value, to achieve the purpose of hot runner temperature control. The accuracy and stability of hot runner temperature controller mainly depend on the following important factors:

    1. Temperature measurement: Sampling cycle parameters and data filter processing decide temperature, and measurement circuit temperature compensation decide temperature measurement accuracy.
    2. PID control: Reflect the proportion of output power through regulation, the related parameters have proportional section, integral time and differential time.
    3. PIDD control: Through phase angle control, the related parameters have proportional section, integration time and differential time.
    4. Automatic adjustment: By analyzing the capacitance of the heating wire and the thermal constant of the mould, it has the function of providing the leading factor (No matter how the environment changes, it helps to accurately controls the temperature).
    5. Output mode: Can be changed according to the environment
SSR (PIDD) mode: Accurate temperature control can be achieved, but the noise of the power supply is much larger than the PWM mode.
PWM (PID) mode: The current noise is small, but the ability to control specific temperature is worse than SSR mode.

I have a question about your 8 channel PID temperature controller
Dimension: D1, Input signal: I1 temperature signal. Temperature Sensor Type: K (-30-1300 C), and output mode: O2 SSR output. My question is how much wattage can this deceive with these specs handle? As of right now, I will be using 8 cartridge heaters that are at 250 Watts with the possibility to switch to ones that are 65 Watts.

The O2 SSR signal output from the controller cannot be directly used to drive the external sensor, and it is only a signal used to trigger the SSR (Output current: 15mA and output voltage is: 9-12VDC). So, you need to purchase SSR separately, and the input voltage to the SSR should be within 12VDC.
Can you provide the temperature controller I need?
Do you provide 4 wire PID temperature controllers to be used with my 4 wire PT100?

    ATO Responded
Do not provide 4 wire PID temperature controller but our 3 wire PID can be connected/worked with the 4 wire PT100 without any issue.
