    Tips: How to clean the connectors of the fiber optic tester?

    Before the fiber or connector is connected to the OTDR, it must be carefully cleaned, including the output connector of the OTDR and the charged connector under test, otherwise, the insertion loss is too high, the measurement is unreliable, the curve is noisy, or even makes the measurement impossible, and the OTDR may be damaged. avoid using cleaning agents other than alcohol or refractive index matching solutions, as they can cause the adhesive inside the fiber connector to dissolve.
