    Tips for using electric actuated butterfly valve

    • When the pressure of the electric actuated butterfly valve exceeds the design regulations, it will automatically open to release the excessive pressure in the gas pressure reducer to prevent damage to the container or pipeline.
    • When the pressure in the vessel drops to normal working pressure, it will automatically shut down to avoid exhausting all the gas due to overpressure in the vessel, resulting in waste and production interruption. The electric butterfly valve is mainly composed of 3 parts, including valve seat, valve disc (spool) and loading mechanism. Some valve seats are integrated with the valve body, and some are assembled with the valve body and connected to the equipment.
    • The valve disc is usually attached with a valve stem, and the valve stem is fixed on the valve seat. Above the disc is a loading mechanism that adjusts the loading size. When the pressure in the electric butterfly valve is within a certain working pressure range, the force of the internal medium acting on the valve disc is less than the force exerted on the valve by the loading mechanism, and the difference between the two constitutes the valve disc and the valve seat. The sealing force makes the valve disc press tightly on the valve seat, and the medium of the equipment cannot be discharged.
    • When the pressure in the equipment exceeds the specified working pressure and reaches the opening pressure of the electric butterfly valve, the force exerted by the internal medium on the alarm valve is greater than the force exerted by the loading mechanism on the alarm valve. At this time, the force exerted by the internal pressure on the valve disc is smaller than the force exerted by the loading mechanism, the valve disc is tightly pressed on the valve seat, the medium stops discharging, and the equipment continues to operate under normal working pressure.
