The three-cup anemometer is specifically designed to accurately and reliably measure wind velocity under the adverse environmental conditions. Output signals include pulse, current 4-20mA, RS485. The wind speed sensor has built-in digital circuit, with strong anti-RFI and EMI ability and automatic temperature compensation function. Measurement value and horizontal wind speed are linear relation.

Features
- Shell of the 3-cup anemometer is made of high-strength aluminum alloy, wind cups are made of 304 stainless steel, and the PCB board is coated with anti-corrosion coating. Waterproof and corrosion resistant.
- The wind speed sensor has a sealing ring inside and at the rotating position, which has good sealing performance and prevents water, salt spray and dust from entering.
- The three-cup air velocity meter has low starting threshold, strong corrosion resistant ability, massive all-metal construction, easy Installation.
3-Cup Anemometer Output Characteristics
V=0.5+0.169*F
V: Wind speed,m/s
F: Numberof pulses within 1 second

Characteristic transfer function: V = (1-4)/(20-4)*50 (Range: 0-50m/s)
(where V = wind speed (m/s), I = output Current (mA)

Tips: 4-20mA output signal conversion calculation for 3-cup anemometer.
When the 3-cup anemometer range is 0~30 m/s and the output is 4~20mA, if the output signal is 12mA, how to calculate the current wind speed value?
The span of this wind speed range is 30m/s, expressed by 16mA current signal,
30 m/s ÷ 16mA = 1.875/mA, that is, a current of 1mA represents a wind speed change of 1.875m/s.
The measured value is 12mA - 4mA = 8mA. 8mA*1.875m/s /mA = 15m/s. The current wind speed is 15m/s. The calculation formula is:
Wind speed = 1.875*current - 7.5, current value unit is mA.
