Recommendation for a suitable configuration
We are currently developing a battery-powered material transport vehicle and are interested in your 500W geared hub motor. We would like to know if you can provide a version with the following specifications: • Lower maximum speed (approx. 10–15 km/h) • Higher wheel torque • Built-in Hall sensors • Optional electromagnetic parking brake (preferred) • Power rating maintained at 500W or a similar specification. Please recommend the most suitable motor configuration for this application.

The hub motor can be configured with Hall sensors; however, the motor's no-load speed is 30–32 km/h. We cannot customize this specific motor to lower the speed while increasing output torque, as the motor and controller are a matched set that cannot be altered. If you require higher torque, you would need to select a higher-power motor.
I recently had a minor issue with my car and bought the 500W gear hub motor as soon as the ATO saw it. After installing the gear hub motor, my car can run very well again.

This is a nice 500W hub motor that seems very well made. A few gripes.. you’ll need to pull the pins out of the connector for the hub motor if you want to add a torque arm, because the connector will not pass through the hole for the axle. Easy enough to do. Take a photo of it so it’s easy to see which pin goes in which hole.
