    Tips: How to improve the service life of control ransformer?

    We know that when using the control transformer, we should pay attention to two points: one is the power of the transformer, the other is the correct wiring. The total power of the load connected to the secondary side shall not be greater than the power of the control transformer, and short circuit is not allowed. Otherwise, the temperature will be too high, and it will be burned if it is serious. The main parameters of the transformer are voltage ratio, voltage regulation rate, copper resistance, efficiency, temperature rise and electrical strength. Different types of transformers have some special requirements. The transformer shall have a long enough life. The main factor that determines the service life of low-voltage transformer is thermal aging. Because the insulation system works in high temperature for a long time, the evaporation of paint film makes the insulation material embrittlement and crack, resulting in electric shock. When the working temperature increases by 8-10 ℃, the service life will be shortened by half.

    For high-voltage transformer, corona discharge is the main factor affecting the service life.     With 240V AC on the secondary, this should provide a max current of 25 amps?
    I am looking at ATO-T-BK6000VA control transformer. I have the need for it to provide continued 240V AC on the secondary coil. It will normally receive 240V AC on the primary control, unless there is some power disturbance then the voltage will most likely drop some. With 240V AC on the secondary, this should provide a max current of 25 amps? Will this be suitable for my needs?

    For ATO-T-BK6000VA control transformer, if your secondary voltage is only 240V AC, then the output current is 25A. For whether the secondary voltage 240V is continuous, this is related to the stability of your grid input voltage.
