Capacitive level sensor is a transmitter that use a coaxial container. The capacitor is composed of two coaxial cylindrical plates, an inner electrode and an outer electrode. When the liquid enters the container, the capacitance value between the sensor shell and the sensing electrode will change, and the standard current, voltage or digital signal will be output. It is suitable for measurement of conductive liquids.

Tips: What is a capacitance level sensor?
Capacitive level sensor is a sensor device that detects the level of objects based on the principle of dielectric capacitance change. It senses the change in dielectric constant of different media through the built-in probe to determine the liquid level or material height. The sensor is usually integrated with a signal processing module, which can convert the detected tiny capacitance changes into stable electrical signal output, suitable for continuous or point level monitoring.
The device is often equipped with a standardized electrical interface, which is convenient for integration with a programmable logic controller (PLC), a signal acquisition module (DAQ Module) or an industrial bus system (Fieldbus System). Its design is mostly modular, compatible with a variety of installation methods, and has a certain environmental protection capability. It is suitable for liquid level monitoring scenarios in multiple industries such as water treatment, chemical industry, and food.
