Tips: Application of stepper motor in filling and sealing machine
Filling and sealing machine is widely applied into the industries such as cosmetics, light industry (daily-use chemical industry), pharmaceutical and food, etc. In general, the flexible pipe is used as the packaging container for these industry products. Many materials including ointment, emulsifiable paste, gels or viscous fluids are filled in the flexible pipe of the device. Then, the end of flexible pipe is melted and pressed and the character code is printed on it. In the meantime, the shape is corrected to make the product.
In packaging machine, the stepper motor is used to drive actuator. Thus, the packaging machine features simple structure, convenience in adjustment, higher reliability and accuracy.
With PLC program control, automatic pipe feeding, color mark positioning, air cleaning space inside the pipe, putting the material nozzle into the pipe and filling, heating internal wall at the end of pipe, cooling the outer wall of pipe end (water drainage cycling of water cooling machine), hot melting, pressing and marking character code, cutting off the end and discharging the finished product and digital display of parameter. The most critical step is positioning of flexible pipe in filling and sealing machine. The rotational velocity of the stepper motor can be set in advance. The color mode is equipped with optical switch, which is used to detect the position of color mark. When detecting the color mark, it will send out control switch signal. After the signal is pressed, the stepper motor will stop rotating and rotate again after delaying certain time, running in cycle to ensure the accurate positioning according to the location of color mark.
