Tips: Working principle of steam solenoid valve
The steam solenoid valve can be divided into Normally Closed and Normally Open solenoid valve according to the on-off state.
The working principle of Normally Closed steam solenoid valve is as follows. When the solenoid is energized, the armature drive the valve plug under the effect of electromagnetic force and the medium on the main valve flow away, thus reducing the pressure on the main valve. When the pressure reduces to a certain value, the armature makes the main valve opening under the pressure difference. The medium can pass through. When the solenoid is de-energized, the electromagnetic force disappears and the armature also reset. The solenoid valve is closed and the medium can’t flow. The ATO solenoid valves for steam is Normally Closed, suitable for running at the temperature from -5 to 180℃.
On the contrary, the Normally Open solenoid valve is closed and stopping the flow of the medium when it is energized, and it is open when it is de-energized.
