    How to wire frequency converter?
We are getting ready to install the frequency converters out at our project. Do you have information on how to wire these? Are these typically fed with SO cord from the bottom opening?

Regarding the installation and wiring of frequency converters, the cables are usually connected from the bottom opening. R/S/T is the input power terminal, N is the natural wire, G is the ground wire, and U/V/W is the output three-phase voltage. You can refer to our operation demonstration video, please see on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJoK9mAmYhI

Some problem of 60Hz frequency converter
I already tried these steps. All phase voltages are same but problem is in line voltage (U-V, V-W, W-U). They are not same while phase voltage (U-N, V-N, W-N) is same.

If the phase voltage (U-N, V-N, W-N) is same, and the output line voltage (U-V, V-W, W-U) only has a deviation of about 4-5V. This is normal. You can use this converter normally.
Since the converter you bought is a 2019 version, if you want to control the line voltage accuracy to about 1V, you can only upgrade and replace it with a new motherboard."
What is cost to upgrade the power supply?

We still need you to provide Line voltage (U-V, V-W, W-U) unbalance measurements before confirming parts replacement. Please use a multimeter to measure the three-phase output line voltage (U-V, V-W, W-U) when the converter is running without load, and provide us with a picture of the measurement result for further confirmation.

You need to provide 2 sets of measurement data:
    1. Phase voltage measurement value (U-N, V-N, W-N)
    2. Line voltage measurement value (U-V, V-W, W-U)
You can send us the large video file via wetransfer.com. It would be better if the feedback is video.
We need a frequency converter. What do you recommend?

    Based on your specs, recommended frequency converter model: HZ-50-1103, 3kVA power capacity, input: 1ph, 230V (+/- 10%), 50/60Hz and output: 1ph (L, N, G), adjustable ( 0-150V), adjustable (40-120Hz), 25A.
Can you provide me with some options for frequency converter?
I bought from Germany a machine that operates with 230V 50Hz1500w with an internal 5A motor. But in Mexico we have 60 Hz.
What could be your suggestion to use a converter?
I need some options, prefer a robust solution.

    For 16A electronics load, recommended frequency converter model: HZ-50-1105, 5kVA power capacity, input: 1ph, 230V (+/- 10%), 50/60Hz and output: 1ph (L, N, G), adjustable ( 0-150V), adjustable (40-120Hz), 41.6A.
Which frequency converter do you recommend for me?
I am looking for a three phase to single phase frequency converter. I need to feed a robot that was brought from China. The voltage is 220 vac and the frequency is 50 Hz.
The manufacturer says that the total rush power of the robot is 37.2 kva. And our supply voltage is 3-phase, 480V. What do you recommend?

    Ok, based on 37.2kVA load, recommended frequency converter model: HZ-50-3145, 45kVA power capacity, input: 3ph, Wye (L1, L2, L3 + N, G), 480V (+/- 10%), 50 /60Hz and output: 1ph, (L + N, G), adjustable (0-300V), adjustable (40-120Hz), 188A.
    High quality frequency converter
The name plate of the transformer under test for the solution 15 KVA Converter is:
    Power 2-5 MVA
    Ratio 400/6000 or 400/20000 V
    Connection Yn/D
    Zcc 6-10%
No load loss at 50 Hz Nominal voltage range 3000 – 6000 W
For the 30 kW converter, the nominal power could be about 15-25 MVA
    Ratio 15000/130 000 V
    Connection Yn/Y
No load loss <17 kW at Vn 50 Hz
    About your answers attached:
OK. The external filter is an option.
Do you confirm that your converte can work in a single phase modifying the firing angle and modifying manually the transformer connections? The scope is to get 15 KVA 3 phase and 15 kVA single phase.
O.K. we can use an ELMA srl instrument to measure frequency over 100 Hz. About SW remote control, do you deliver a simple SW tool for Windows pc or only protocol profile like Modbus?

Thanks for your kind information on transformer load capacity for our reference.
    1. For power 2-5 MVA, it is alright to choose a 15KVA converter, but for a nominal power that may be around 15-25 MVA, you need to choose a 75 KVA converter in fact. Because our converter needs to amplify at least 3 times the capacity for transformer load. Choose 15 KVA & 75 KVA converters is the only choice.
    2. Q&A on the other questions:
    A. Yes, the external filter is an option.
    B. If you just need our converter to work as a single-phase output occasionally, you can do it without a selector and without any changes. Because our three-phase converter can be directly connected to an output Hot Line, add zero Line N, then it becomes a single-phase output, it can be used like this.>>>the nominal output power will be 1/3 of nominal power (5-7kVA).
    C. About remote control voltage output/frequency, what er can do is output from the converter lead, connected to an external control box with a display panel to achieve remote control. Thus our remote control is wired, it is not software.
    Frequency converter voltage
I have some questions about your voltage and frequency converters. I currently have an application that requires conversion from 3 phase 480v @ 60Hz to 3 phase 400v @ 50Hz able to support 60 KVA. Do you have such specs?

    ATO Responded
    Yes. Ok, based on your specs, recommended frequency converter model: HZ-50-3375, 75kVA power capacity, input: 3ph, Wye (L1,L2,L3 + N,G), 480V (+/- 10%), 50/60Hz and output: 3ph, Wye/Delta (L1,L2,L3 + N,G), adjustable (0-520V), adjustable (40-120Hz), 104.2A.
High quality 3 phase 75 kVA frequency converter
For your 75 kVA 3 phase frequency converter, the 104.2A is that inrush current or nominal current? The in-rush current duration for my application is less than 0.5 seconds and the nominal is ~ 11 amps. Would I still require a 75kVA unit?
    From: Wade | Date: 26/07/2021
Was this review helpful? Yes No (0/0)
    ATO Responded
The 104.2A is the max inrush current the frequency converter can handle, so, even the in-rush current duration for your application is less than 0.5 seconds, recommended converter would be 75kVA as listed below.
