The control transformer is a kind of small dry-type transformer, which is often used as the power supply of local lighting, signal lamp or indicator lamp, and as the power supply of control circuit in electrical equipment. Two points should be paid attention to when using the control transformer: One is the power of the transformer, the other is the correct wiring.
1. The total power of the load connected to the secondary side shall not be greater than the power of the control transformer, and short circuit is not allowed. Otherwise, the temperature will be too high, and transformer will be burned if it is serious.
2. The primary and secondary wiring of the control transformer shall not be wrongly connected, especially the primary side wiring. The voltage value of the primary side shall be marked on its terminal. It is not allowed to connect the 380V power line to the 220V terminal, but the 220V power line can be connected to the 380V terminal. At this time, all the output voltage of the secondary side will be reduced by 1.73 times. The secondary side load shall be connected to the corresponding terminal according to its rated voltage, for example, the 6.3V indicator light shall be connected to the 6.3V terminal, the 36V lighting bulb of the machine tool shall be connected to the 36V terminal, and the 127V AC contactor coil of the machine tool shall be connected to the 127V terminal.
