    1. On-off type (open loop control)
    On-off type electric valve actuator generally control the valve either in the fully open position or in the fully closed position. Such valves do not require precise control of the medium flow.
    The on-off electric valve actuator can be divided into the split type and the integrated type due to different structures. When selecting the electric valve actuator, it should figure out which type is more suitable, otherwise it will often cause the mismatch with the control system in the field installation.

    2. Regulating type (closed loop control)
    The regulated electric valve actuator not only has the function of the on-off type, but also can precisely control the valve to regulate the flow of the medium. The control type of the regulated electric valve actuator generally has a current signal (4 to 20mA, 0 to 10mA) or a voltage signal (0 to 5V, 1 to 5V).Besides, the regulated electric valve actuator has loss of signal protection. When the control signal is lost due to faults, the electric actuator will control the valve to open and close to the set protection value. The common protection values ​​are full open, full off, and in-situ.
