Apply a reflective marker to the target surface
Begin by securely placing a reflective marker onto the object intend to measure.
Power on and initiate measurement mode
Switch on the industrial RPM meter, then press and hold the measurement button to activate the laser sensing function.
Align and capture rotational speed
Aim the portable laser tachometer at the reflective marker attached to the wind vane, ensuring the laser dot is precisely aligned with the marker. Once aligned, the tachometer will automatically detect and display the rotational speed value.

Professional and well-built tool

I’ve been using this industrial laser tachometer for routine motor and fan inspections, and it has been extremely reliable. The non-contact photoelectric measurement is very accurate, even at high speeds, and the wide 10–99999 rpm range covers all of my applications. I especially like that it works well in low-light and dark environments, which is useful in plant rooms.
