Tips: Comparison between radar level sensor and capacitive level sensor
Radar level sensor adopts non-contact measurement principle, and calculates liquid level by transmitting and receiving high-frequency microwave signals. It has the advantages of high measurement accuracy, strong anti-interference ability, and wide adaptability. It is suitable for complex working conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, and strong corrosion. It is widely used in petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries, and is basically maintenance-free.
Capacitive level sensor uses the principle that the capacitance of the capacitor changes with the liquid level. It determines the liquid level by measuring the change of capacitance value. It has a simple structure and low cost. It is suitable for conductive liquids, but is sensitive to foam and adhesion. It is often used in general application scenarios such as water treatment and small storage tanks, and requires regular maintenance and cleaning.
