Tips: What is an ultrasonic wind speed & direction anemometer?

The ultrasonic wind speed & direction anemometer uses four ultrasonic probes to cyclically send and receive ultrasonic waves in a two-dimensional plane. This type of wind sensor measures wind speed and direction through the time difference of ultrasonic waves propagating in the air.

Ultrasonic wind measurement is an application of ultrasonic detection technology in gaseous media. Its working principle is that the propagation speed of ultrasonic waves in the air is affected by air flow (wind). Compared with the conventional wind cup or rotary wing anemometer, the biggest feature of ultrasonic measurement method is that the entire wind measurement system does not have any mechanical rotating parts. The ultrasonic anemometer is a non-inertial measurement, so it can accurately measure the high frequency components of the gust pulsation in the natural wind.

I need more information about the ultrasonic anemometer
I recently bought an RK120-07 ultrasonic wind sensor (RS232 output) and am looking for more information on communication with the device. How can I tell if this is MODBUS or NMEA-183 protocol? I want NMEA-183. It says Check bit: EVEN. Is this the parity bit? Is RX/TX in reference to the device? I.e., TX is where the wind sensor's sends out data. Does the sensor automatically send out data when powered on? Or does it need a prompt?

RK120-07 ultrasonic wind sensor (RS232 output), RS232 communication protocol is the same as MODBUS-RTU.
Please refer to the following communication protocol description:
Communication Protocol (MODBUS)
Transmission mode: MODBUS-RTU, Baud rate: 9600bps, Data bits: 8, Stop bit: 1, Check bit: EVEN Slave address: the factory default is 01H (set according to the need, 00H to FFH)
The 03H Function Code Example: Read the Wind speed & Wind direction Host Scan Order (slave address:0x01)
01 03 00 00 00 04 44 09
Slave Response
01 03 08 0002 0126 80AD 4003 77E1
Wind direction: (0126) H= (54) D=294 (°)
Wind speed: 0x400380AD>>2.05 (m/s)
Note:
1. All underlined is fixed bit.
2. The last two bytes is CRC check command.
3. If you changed the address, restart the device to take effect.
4-20mA pinout?
What is the pinout for the 4-20mA output signal option? Is it power and signal? Power, ground and signal? Power, ground, signal plus and signal minus?

Do you have an installation manual ?
Can you provide a bracket for the mounting also? Or do you have an installation manual I could look at?

Yes, we can provide a mounting bracket, see the attached picture, including mounting bracket and mounting pole.
Please confirm whether such a mounting bracket is OK? Also, do you require a mounting pole? If so, what is the required height of the pole?
