    Hydraulic mill is the main equipment to produce black and colorful strip, the main index including tolerance of strip thickness, strip shape, production capacity. Of which, tolerance of strip thickness is the key index. Tolerance of strip thickness control is the most important step in the whole rolling process. In control unit (process), inspecting oil cylinder position (roll gap) is the most important. Oil cylinder position value is the feedback value of closed loop controlled by roll gap. According to mill bounding principle, roll gap control means control the strip rolling thickness. Refer to automatic gain control (AGC) of hydraulic mill, the position detection of hydraulic oil cylinder normally adopts magnetostrictive sensor.
