Tips: What is industrial Ethernet switch ring network redundancy?
Ring network is to use a continuous loop connecting each device together. It ensures that the signals sent on one device can be seen by all other devices on the ring. Ring network redundancy refers to whether the switch supports: When the cable connection is interrupted, the IE switch receives this information and activates its backup port to restore network communication. At the same time, the industrial Ethernet switches disconnected from ports 7 and 8 in the network, the relays are closed, and the indicators give an error alarm to the user. After the cable repair is normal, the relay and indicator light return to the normal state.

    Managed switch vs unmanaged switch
I have two quesitons about this managed switch. Is power input DC110-220V (DC110~370V) or AC100-240V (AC85~264V) (should be on the label)? What is the difference between the smart switch and the unmanaged switch?

Yes, it just as the label. And unmanaged switches are plug and play - connect one of the ports to your existing LAN via Ethernet to receive additional physical Ethernet port connectivity via the switch. The Easy Smart variation offers some basic management features such as QoS for a Lag-Free Experience, IGMP Snooping for Multicast Optimization, and VLAN for Security.
