    Tips: Notes for installation and use of energy meter

    1. The current coil should be connected in series on the phase line. When the low voltage and high current is measured, it should be connected to the circuit through the current transformer, namely, the current coil is connected in series on the secondary side of the current transformer, and the voltage coil should be connected in parallel in the circuit. When the electric energy of the high-voltage circuit is measured, because of the high voltage of the circuit, the circuit should be connected through the voltage transformer and the current transformer, namely, the current coil is connected in series on the secondary side of the current transformer, and the voltage coil is connected to the secondary side of the voltage transformer in parallel.
    2. The energy meter which is directly wired can not have its terminal chip being disassembled, otherwise, the voltage coil of the energy meter has no power and the intelligent energy meter doesn't rotate.
    3. As to the energy meter equipped with the current transformer, the current transformer is better to be installed above the energy meter, avoiding touching the electrified part in reading the meter value. If the terminal chip in the meter is not disassembled, the current transformer secondary side K1 should be connected with the front terminal of the first side L1 in a reliable manner, and K2 is forbidden to be grounded, otherwise, the energy meter might be damaged. If the terminal chip in the meter has been disassembled, the current transformer secondary side K2 should be reliably grounded. The connection with the wiring pile head of the current transformer first side can adopt the aluminium conductor or aluminium busbar, but the wiring of the secondary side should use the sub-thread insulation copper line with the sectional area of no smaller than 1.5 mm2.
    4. As to the low-voltage measurement, when the capacity is 250A and above, the secondary loop should be installed with a special wiring terminal plate for easier meter correction.
