    Wiring

4S 10A active battery balencer wiring

    1. Black cable connects negative/-pole.
    2. Red cable connects positive/+ pole.
    3. When the battery pack is less than 4, the additional cable can be suspended (the positive and negative ends should be avoided), which does not affect the equalization effect.

    Note:

    1. Please read the instructions before installing the equipment.
    2. Before connecting to the balancer, please confirm the positive and negative electrodes of the battery pack to avoid a short circuit between the terminals of the equalizer.

Tips: How does an active battery balancer work?

An active battery balancer is a device designed to equalize the charge among individual cells in a battery pack. Its primary function is to address voltage imbalances that can occur during charging and discharging cycles. The balancer actively redistributes energy by selectively transferring charge between cells. Typically employed in lithium-ion battery systems, it monitors cell voltages and ensures that all cells reach and maintain a uniform state of charge. This prevents overcharging of certain cells, which can lead to reduced capacity, shortened lifespan, and safety hazards. Active balancers employ circuitry and control algorithms to manage the flow of energy, promoting efficiency and extending the overall life of the battery pack by maintaining optimal cell performance and preventing overcharging or overdischarging of individual cells.
