Tips: How to determine whether the rotary encoder is interfered and fails?

  1. Exclude the sources of interference (remove, close, isolate).
  2. Determinate whether the mechanical gap cumulative error.
  3. Determine whether the control system matches with the encoder circuit interface (encoder selection error).

Try all the three methods and then trouble are eliminated, the reason can be initially determined. If not, then it needs to be further analyzed.
