This small ultrasonic sensor operates based on the principle of ultrasonic distance measurement. It first emits high-frequency ultrasonic pulses, which propagate through the surrounding space as sound waves. When the ultrasonic waves encounter the surface of an object, they are reflected back to the sensors receiver. The waterproof ultrasonic sensor accurately measures the time taken for the waves to travel from emission to reception and calculates the distance to the object based on the speed of sound. This process occurs in a very short period, enabling the sensor to acquire real-time information about the objects position. By continuously emitting and receiving pulses, the ultrasonic ranger sensor can monitor its surroundings in a continuous manner, allowing for the detection and avoidance of moving objects.
