    AC Gear Motor Standard Installation

    • All the ATO 3-phase AC gear motors are suitable for this installation method, as shown in the following diagram.
    • In the diagram, Q1, Q4, Q7, Q8 are the standard types of oil hole direction. If you need the air hole be on a special position, please contact us to modify the air hole direction.
    • In actual use, it is recommended to pull out the oil plug in the air hole to balance the pressure in gearbox.

    During everyday use, it is a relatively common phenomenon for a 3-phase AC gear motor to run overheated. However, if this problem is not paid great attention to, it will shorten the service life of the gear motor. If you meet this situation, you should first analyze the causes carefully, and then take a scientific solution.
    1. Excessive power supply voltage will cause the temperature to be increased. You can install a suitable power regulator.
    2. Low power supply voltage will also cause the situation of gear motor heating. It is necessary to increase the voltage of the power supply, to make it reach the rated requirements.
    3. The core fault will lead to iron consumption damage and heat. This will need to check the core and eliminate the core fault.
