    Tips: Safety notes

    1. When installing insulated tools, use insulated tools. Do not use inferior tools.
    2. Do not use inferior batteries to prevent leakage or corrosion.
    3. Do not use cables that are too thin or of poor quality to avoid leakage or fire.
    4. Do not keep the positive and negative terminals of the battery.
    5. Do not place the controller in the environment of humidity, dust, rain, severe vibration, corrosion and strong electromagnetic interference. It is strictly prohibited to install and use this controller in a mixed flammable gas environment.
    6. It is strictly prohibited to place any flammable, explosive and dangerous materials around the controller.
    7. Please keep all symbols on the controller intact, and keep children away from the scene to avoid accidents.
    8. Do not open the case of the product itself.
    9. When installing the device, make sure to place the terminal block on the bottom of the device to prevent rainwater from pouring into the case.

1000W Wind Turbine MPPT Charge Controller
Based on power calculation, the MPPT charge controller should nominally output (40A) at (24vdc).  When using the MPPT controller with a (24vdc battery bank), what is the output (voltage threshold) to trigger the PWM unload dynamic braking?  What are the (voltage) input limits on the (3-phase) input of the (1000W) MPPT controller?

    ATO Responded
    1. Yes, the MPPT charge controller should nominally output (40A) at (24vdc).
    2. The MPPT controller rectifies the electricity from the wind turbine in front and charges the battery. When the 24v battery is fully charged (about 28.3V), it automatically brakes.
    3. The maximum input limit voltage of the 24V MPPT controller is 60V. As long as you configure a 24V wind turbine, it will be fine.
    my question
Is this (ATO-WTCMPPT-1000) MPPT Wind Turbine Charge Controller configured for charging lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries? I need to ensure that my expensive LiFePO4 battery bank will not be damaged.

    ATO Responded
Our MPPT wind turbine charge controller can charge lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, please send us the voltage parameters of the lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery for further confirmation.
    Charge controller question
When the battery is fully charged is the power dumped into a load resister so that the turbine remains loaded? '"automatic braking" sounds like it does, but I want to be sure.

    ATO Responded
When the battery is fully charged, the controller will automatically brake for protection. Only large-capacity controllers are equipped with an unloader (load resister).
I am looking for a generator
I am looking at your generator model ATOBDG11000SE. Can you give me any other information as to the output current protection? I am currently trying to find a generator for an application with a 3-phase 7.5HP air compressor and it appears this model will meet my needs. Is there a main breaker on the generator?

    ATO Responded
Yes, the output of our ATOBDG11000SE generator has current protection. And can run 3-phase 7.5HP air compressor efficiently.
When the current is higher than rated, an alarm will be triggered, and the generator has an output circuit breaker.
