    Tips: Performance of EMI/RFI line filter in power supply equipment

    1. Prevent outside electromagnetic noise from interfering control circuit working of power supply equipment.
    2. Prevent outside electromagnetic noise from interfering power supply loading.
    3. Restrain the EMI generating from power supply equipment itself.
    4. Restrain the EMI which is generated by other equipment and passes through the power supply.

    When switching power supply is working and electronic equipment is under switching on/off status, it may appear terminal noise at power supply equipment input end and generate radiation and conducting interference, which may also enter AC power grid and interfere other electronic equipment. Therefore, it should take effective measures to restrain. Electromagnetic shielding is the best way for restraining radiation interference of EMI noise. Using EMI/RFI line filter is very effective measure for restraining conducting interference of EMI noise.
