Tips: How to select a miniature circuit breaker

    1. Determine the number of poles of the mini circuit breaker according to the number of lines to be protected. For example, the general household electricity is single-phase electricity, and the circuit consists of a neutral wire and a live wire. If both lines need to be protected, select two poles. If the neutral line does not need to be protected, choose a single pole.
    2. Determine the amperage of the mini circuit breaker according to the line load. For example, if the load capacity of the line is 20A and the rated working current of the electrical appliance is 10A, the MCB selection should be>10A, <20A.
    3. Determine the type of instantaneous protection according to the resistance type of electrical appliances in the loop. There are three types of instantaneous protection, and the corresponding current protection multiples are B: 3~5In, C: 5~10In, and D10~14In (In is the rated current). If it's just an incandescent lamp, you can choose type B. Choose type C for general electricity use, and type D for air conditioning protection.

    Types of Circuit Breakers

In this video, we'll take a closer look at the meaning behind these abbreviations and explain the types of circuit breakers they represent. By understanding the different types of circuit breakers on the market, you can make an informed decision and choose the right type for your specific requirements, thereby enhancing the protection of your electrical infrastructure.

    Isolator vs Circuit Breaker

Although isolators and circuit breakers have similar functions in a circuit, they are two separate entities. This video explains you the difference between the two devices in terms of working, features, operation, affordability, etc. You can choose between them based on your specific requirements.
