    Tips: Difference among circuit breakers 1P, 1P + N, 2P
Circuit breakers used in single-phase circuits include three types 1P, 1P + N, and 2P.

    1. Among them, a 1P circuit breaker is used to cut off the firing line and monitor the current on the firing wire, protecting the firing line from tripping once the current on the firing line reaches a certain rated current.
    2. 1P + N circuit breaker is used to cut off the firing line and null line, protecting the firing line by only detecting the fire line not the null line.
    3. 2P circuit breaker is used to cut off the firing line and null line and detect the current on them.

Standard lamp circuit takes the form of 1P or 1P + N circuit break. The socket circuit should be attached with electric leakage protection accessories. The standard five-hole socket is installed with 1P or 1P + N residual current breaker and a three-hole socket with a 2P residual current circuit breaker.

    Types of Circuit Breakers

In this video, we'll take a closer look at the meaning behind these abbreviations and explain the types of circuit breakers they represent. By understanding the different types of circuit breakers on the market, you can make an informed decision and choose the right type for your specific requirements, thereby enhancing the protection of your electrical infrastructure.

    Isolator vs Circuit Breaker

Although isolators and circuit breakers have similar functions in a circuit, they are two separate entities. This video explains you the difference between the two devices in terms of working, features, operation, affordability, etc. You can choose between them based on your specific requirements.
