    Features

    Tips: Protective device to be installed in a 5 kVA isolation transformer

    1. Gas protection that reflects the internal faults of 5 kVA single phase 230V to 120V isolation transformer oil tank and oil surface reduction.
    2. Longitudinal differential protection or current fast-trip protection that reflects the interphase short circuit of isolation transformer winding and outgoing line, the single-phase grounding short circuit of neutral-point solid ground winding and outgoing line.
    3. Overcurrent protection that reflects the external interphase short circuit of step up/ dowm transformer and plays as the differential protection reserve of gas protection box (or current fast-trip protection).
    4. Zero-sequence current protection that reflects the external and internal grounding short-circuit of the 5 kVA isolation transformer in the neutral-point solid ground system.

    Used 5 kVA transformer to step up 120 volt to 220 volt
    I used this unit (5 kVA isolation transformer, single phase) for the Step Up since I bought something from a country that had 220 volts and here in the USA uses only 120 volts. My stereo had the lights on, but the speakers or sounds was not working. The xmas decor lights work, but it was dim. After plugging both to step up the 220 volts, radio/speakers work perfect and the xmas lights were super bright. Highly recommend.

    Dear friend, whatever the input frequency is, if you are in a 60Hz area, it will be 60Hz. If you are in a 50Hz area, it will be 50Hz. Our isolation transformers transform the voltage only.
