After purchasing one ATO load cell, you can buy a special digital panel meter to obtain readings directly, or buy a transmitter to output standard signal to PLC, DCS and other systems. Customized output signal is 0-5V, 0-10V, or 4-20mA.
Note: The load cell cannot be connected to both the transmitter and the controller at the same time — only one can be selected.
This high precision column load cell uses a stainless steel elastic element and self-restoring structure for stable force measurement. Available in 30 ton, 40 ton, and 50 ton capacities, it supports tension-free compression weighing with low repeatability error, low creep, and reliable long-term performance.

Feature
- Self-Restoring Column Structure: The self-restoring column structure helps the load cell return to its original position after loading, supporting stable and repeatable weighing. Its compact design also offers strong resistance to lateral forces and impact, making it suitable for heavy-load weighing conditions.
- Stainless Steel Welded Sealing: The high precision column load cell uses a continuously laser-welded stainless steel housing for reliable environmental protection. The IP68/IP69K sealing protects the internal sensing components from dust, water, and frequent high-pressure washdown.
- Stable Performance Under Heavy Loads: The stainless steel elastic element and robust column structure support stable load measurement under demanding conditions. Low creep and low repeatability error contribute to consistent weighing output during long-term operation.
- High Precision and Multiple Capacities: Available in 30 ton, 40 ton, and 50 ton capacities, the column type load cell offers C3/C6 accuracy classes and a sensitivity output of 2.0 ± 0.002 mV/V. Low temperature effects further support reliable measurement across changing operating conditions.
- Versatile Process Weighing Applications: The column load cell is suitable for tanks, silos, platform scales, filling systems, and process weighing control. Its high load capacity, compact structure, and environmental resistance support long-term use in demanding industrial weighing applications.

Tips: How Can I Reduce Lateral Forces on a Column Load Cell?
A column load cell measures force most accurately when the load is applied vertically and evenly along its sensing axis. During installation, keep the load path properly aligned and minimize horizontal forces, vibration, and uneven contact between the load cell and mounting structure. The compact column structure offers good resistance to lateral forces, but proper mechanical alignment remains important for maintaining stable and accurate weighing results.
