Good price industrial EC sensors for sale. Industrial conductivity is critical for process control, product and water quality or leak detection. Industrial EC transducers measure the conductivity of aqueous solutions and indirectly calculate the concentration of solution electrolytes. The water quality is preliminarily determined by the conductivity and treatment plans are then taken. Industrial EC sensors can be widely used in continuous monitoring of conductivity values of aqueous solutions such as cross-section water quality, aquaculture, sewage treatment, environmental protection, pharmaceuticals, food and tap water.

    Electrode Installation

    1. Submerged installation: The lead wire of the electrode is passed through the stainless steel pipe, and the 3/4 thread on the top of the electrode is connected to the 3/4 thread of the stainless steel with raw tape. Make sure that no water enters the top of the electrode and the electrode wire.
    2. Pipeline installation: Connect the electrode to the pipeline through the 3/4 thread of the electrode.

Tips: Maintenance of industrial EC sensors

    • Before using the equipment, the conductivity electrode needs to be fully shaken in the measured liquid to remove the bubbles attached to the electrode, and then the solution conductivity can be measured normally.
    • If the electrode is not used for a long time, it can generally be stored in a dry place, but it must be placed (stored) in distilled water for several hours before use to activate the electrode. Frequently used electrodes can be placed (stored) in distilled water.
    • Organic stains on the electrode can be cleaned with warm water containing detergent or with alcohol. Calcium and magnesium precipitates are best cleaned with 10% citric acid.
    • Electrode plates or poles can only be cleaned by chemical methods or by shaking in water.
    • Wiping the electrode plate or pole will damage the coating (platinum black) on the electrode surface.
    • The equipment should be calibrated before each use. It is recommended to calibrate once every 3 months for long-term use. The calibration frequency should be adjusted appropriately according to different application conditions.
