Tips: How does a torque load cell work?

A torque sensor (also known as a torque load cell) works by measuring the torque (rotational force) applied to a shaft. It utilizes the principle of resistance strain gauges to capture changes in torque and convert them into electrical signals. These signals are processed to accurately reflect the magnitude and direction of the torque. Torque sensors are widely used in mechanical engineering, test equipment, automobile manufacturing and other fields.

In order to ensure that the torque transducer works stably for a long period of time, regular maintenance is necessary. Firstly, overloading and violent shocks should be avoided, which will lead to damage of the load cell. Second, regularly check the cable connections for looseness or wear to ensure proper signal transmission.
