    Tips: The application usually determines the control mode of the VFD
    Volts per Hertz (V/F)
    V/F controls the ratio between voltage and frequency to change the motor flux, thereby providing the motor with operating torque. The V/F drive works well for most applications such as fans and water pumps.
    Sensorless vector
    Sensorless vector VFDs are known for their precise speed control over a wide speed range without encoder feedback, because they work well in open loop. The closed loop VFD uses encoder feedback to perform precise speed control by monitoring the actual motor speed and slip information. Sensorless vector and closed-loop VFD have excellent speed regulation, providing accurate speed control for paper mills, printing presses and other conversion applications.

    How to start and run 1/4hp non enclosure VFD?
    Is there a way to use the one we have in the field?
    The amperage is close enough if we raise or drop the voltage or bypass anything in the system to get it to work in the interim? It is installed and anything we can do to get it up and running right now?

    The 2 driving models have the same performance durability, and for a VFD rated motor which draws no more than 9Amps at 230VAC, we recommend using the 5hp model (GK3000-2S0037).
