2 pole Miniature Circuit Breaker Details

Tips: Different types of break curves of miniature circuit breaker

    • A trip curve: The magnetic tripping current is (2-3) In, which is suitable for protecting semiconductor electronic circuits, measuring circuits with low-power transformers, or systems with long circuits and low currents.
    • B trip curve: The magnetic tripping current is (3-5) In, which is suitable for pure resistive loads and low-voltage lighting circuits. It is often used to protect household power distribution systems, household appliances, and personal safety.
    • C trip curve: The magnetic tripping current is (5-10) In, which is suitable for inductive loads and high-inductance lighting circuits, and is often used to protect power distribution lines and lighting lines with higher on-current.
    • D trip curve: The magnetic tripping current is (10-20) In, which is suitable for systems with high inductive loads and large inrush currents, and is often used to protect equipment with high inrush currents, such as transformers, solenoid valves, etc.

    Types of Circuit Breakers

In this video, we'll take a closer look at the meaning behind these abbreviations and explain the types of circuit breakers they represent. By understanding the different types of circuit breakers on the market, you can make an informed decision and choose the right type for your specific requirements, thereby enhancing the protection of your electrical infrastructure.

    Isolator vs Circuit Breaker

Although isolators and circuit breakers have similar functions in a circuit, they are two separate entities. This video explains you the difference between the two devices in terms of working, features, operation, affordability, etc. You can choose between them based on your specific requirements.
