Piping Methods

For the air ducts connected to the inlet and outlet ports of the AMS1000 series, please reserve a straight portion of the air duct according to the inlet straight length ≥12.5cm and the outlet straight length ≥6.25, otherwise the accuracy may be shifted by 3% F.S. or more.
The sensor duct of the argon flow meter is recommended to be installed parallel or perpendicular to the horizontal plane. When the sensor is mounted parallel to the horizontal plane, the sensor interface must be above the sensor duct and parallel to the horizontal plane.
Application

Tips: Argon gas flow meter common problems and solutions
Common Problems |
Solution |
Inaccurate flow rate, too big or too small or even no flow. |
1. compliance with specification takeover requirements. |
2. whether the incoming gas meets the requirements. 3. whether the gas pressure meets the minimum 0.1Mpa driving standard. |
3. whether the air pressure of the gas supply reaches the minimum 0.1Mpa driving standard. 4. whether the installation environment is free from vibration or interference. |
4. the installation environment is free of vibration or interference. |
Front and rear piping requirements |
The inlet of the flow meter needs to be connected to a long straight pipe, refer to the specification for details of installation, and the installation environment should be free from vibration and electromagnetic interference. |
Wide variation of values before and after the same pipe |
Due to the different placement, the pressure resistance is different, resulting in different flow rate readings. |
What type of gas can the flow meter pass through? |
Gas flow meter through the gas can only be a single gas, mixed gases can not be detected, and the gas needs to be dry and clean, can not carry moisture and oil. |
