Tips: Analysis of rotary encoder's common malfunction

    1. Deformation of the rotation axis
The common reason for this to happen is that the lock nut for fixing the nut or the locking potentiometer is over-tightened while installing, so it is recommended that the rotation axis shall be about 1 mm above the nut surface after the nut is tightened.
    2. Inflexible rotation
It is usually caused by dust going into the shaft or lubricant becoming dry, normally put a small amount of gasoline on the shaft and it should be done while rotating the shaft.
    3. Poor connection
There can be two cases, the first is when the reed has lack of flexibility, and the second is that the connection between the lead pin and the carbon film is poor. Both cases can be repaired. In the first case, we shall press down the contacts and the root of the spring lamination. In the second case, we shall use pliers to clamp the lead pin.
    4. Malfunction with alarms
It means that the battery needs to be replaced. If the position memory of the reference point is lost, the reference point return operation must be performed.
Existing reviews of Incremental Rotary Encoder, Shaft, 100 ppr
There is no problem in using 100ppr incremental rotary encoder
I have used this 100ppr incremental rotary encoder many times, every time I use it without problems, the product is the same as the page picture description, small in size, light in weight, and compact in structure. We all like to use it.
