    After purchasing one ATO load cell, you can buy a special digital panel meter to obtain readings directly, or buy a transmitter to output standard signal to PLC, DCS and other systems. Customized output signal is 0-5V, 0-10V, or 4-20mA.

    Note: The load cell cannot be connected to both the transmitter and the controller at the same time — only one can be selected.

    The miniature button cload cell is a high-precision measuring device that can measure very small changes in weight or pressure. When an external force acts on the sensor, the metal structure will undergo slight deformation, which will cause the strain gauge to output a weak electrical signal. This electrical signal is then amplified, filtered and analyzed by a data acquisition system, and ultimately converted into a readable numerical or graphical display.

    Miniature compression load cells have capacity range from 5kg, 10kg, 20kg, 30kg, 50kg to 100kg. Load cell capacity can be customized according to customer requirements.

    What happens if the load exceeds 100%F.S? For example, can I operate the load cell at 125%F.S? Or 150%?

    Within 150% of the range, the components inside the sensor may be damaged, and more than 150% of the sensor capacity, may cause deformation.
    Does the load cell need to be calibrated?
    If the load cell permanently mounted. Does it need to be calibrated once in while because of the creep?

    When sensor reading has a large error (measured value is not accurate), the calibration is required, but calibration is not determined according to usage time.

    You can choose while ordering which output signale you will be needing not on site, it should be one value "factory selected option".

    I want to buy a load cell controller, but needs to get weight in ton not kg, is it possible?

    Yes, it possible. You can use the controller to measure tons unit. There are 4 options for unit setting (0=ton, 1=kg, 2=g, 3=kn).
