    Tips: Operating modes of switching power supply
    Switching power supply provides users with three operating modes for modulation of fixed frequency and pulse width, adjustable frequency and pulse width, as well as fixed frequency with adjustable pulse width. The first operating mode is used for DC/AC inversion or DC/DC voltage conversion. The latter two modes are used for switching voltage regulator. In addition, it outputs voltage in three modes, namely direct output, average output, and amplitude output. Similarly, the first operating mode is used for DC/AC inversion or DC/DC voltage conversion. The latter two modes are used for switching voltage regulator.
    Switching power supply can be categorized into tandem type, parallel type and transformer type according to its connection types in circuits. Among which, the transformer type (also known as transformer switching power supply) can be further classified into push-pull type, half-bridge type and full-bridge type. According to excitation and voltage output phases of transformers, it can be divided into forward type, fly back type, single excitation type, and double excitation type. Moreover, it could be classified into more types by its purposes.
