    As for 2-phase unipolar stepper motor, there are 6 motor leads and outgoing lines. Such motor can be driven with unipolar or bipolar driver. When 4-line bipolar driver is used to drive 6-line bipolar unipolar stepper motor, there is great difference in wiring mode and the results will be different. 2-phase unipolar and bipolar stepper motors can be connected through large or small winding connection.
    Large winding connection also indicates the series connection. It is generally applied into the occasions when the motor rotates at low velocity. The resistance with such connection is double times of single-phase resistance and inductance is 4 times of single-phase inductance and the rated current is 0.7 times of single-phase current of motor. At this time, holding torque is about 1.4 times of unipolar drive.
    Small winding connection is generally applicable for occasions when the motor rotates at high velocity. The characteristic parameters of resistance, inductance and holding torque of the motor are the same as the characteristic of the unipolar drive motor.
