    Tips: Working Principle of the ATC Spindle

    The rear part of the main shaft is a cylinder structure. The inside of the cylinder uses air pressure to push the thimble against the middle rod to extend the chuck so that the tool falls off, and then the equipment can use the shaft platform to automatically grab the tool. The solenoid valve at the back of the spindle is used to release the air pressure to clamp the tool. This process is called automatic tool change, or ATC for short.

    This ATC spindle is well made.
    I bought a 1.5kw CNC spindle for a work project. So far it has been working fine, I have no complaints with the motors at all. Quite a bit quiet than the last one I had, strongly recommend to the people who need a ATC spinle.

    Very quiet and improved dust control.
    My spindle arrived on time, with very good protective packaging, and the simple instruction sheet was helpful. My spindle works well, is very quiet, and with no motor cooling fan forcing air through the spindle and onto the work piece to contend with, dust control, with my dust shroud, is greatly improved. I use it on a hobbyist CNC machine that I have. I’m very happy with it.
