Am I Grounding My GK3000 VFD Correctly?

    Hi everyone,
I'm setting up my ATO GK3000 VFD with a 1500W spindle, and I think I might be overthinking this, but I want to be sure.
For the 220V AC input, I know where to connect Line 1 and Line 2. What I'm not fully confident about is the ground connection. For both the input ground and the spindle ground, should I be using the PB terminal or the E terminal?
I just don't want to wire it wrong and cause any damage. Thank you in advance.

The E terminal of the VFD is connected to ground, and the PB terminal is connected to the braking resistor.
You can connect the 220V input ground wire to the E terminal, and then connect the spindle motor's ground wire to the E terminal, or connect the spindle motor's ground wire to the ground wire system separately.
This means that the VFD and spindle motor grounds are grounded separately. If you still have questions, please provide us with pictures of your VFD wiring for confirmation.

Yeah, I think you're mixing up the labels a bit. PB is definitely for the braking resistor, not ground. You don't want to use that for earth. E stands for earth/ground — that's the one you're looking for.

Ah okay, I see where I was getting confused now. So E is the correct ground terminal, and PB is only for the braking resistor. I'll wire the input ground to E and make sure the spindle is properly grounded too. Appreciate the help!
