Tips: Selection of stepper motor: how to select power?

    1. Confirmation of voltage
The working voltage of stepper motor driver is generally a wide range. The power voltage is usually selected according to the working speed and response speed of the motor. If the working speed high or the response requirement is fast, then the voltage value should be high. However, the ripple wave of power voltage should not exceed the maximum input voltage of the driver, or the driver may be destroyed.
    2. Confirmation of current
The power current is generally determined according to the output phase current of driver. In case that the linear power is used, the power current generally can be 1.1~1.3 times of current. If the switch power is used, it can be 1.5~2.0 of current.
