    Usage Steps of Vacuum Freeze Dryer Machine

    • Ordinary Freeze Dryer
    1. Remove the pre-frozen material plate from cold trap and quickly load it into drying rack. Place the drying rack over cold trap and cover it with plexiglass cover. Lower end of glass cover should make full contact with O-ring.
    2. Tighten the vacuum valve and press the vacuum pump button. Then the vacuum pump will work and the vacuum will drop rapidly. It is normal for vacuum degree to drop below 15Pa, at which point lyophilization begins.
    3. After 24 hours, materials have completely dry. Open the vacuum valve for inflation. Press the vacuum pump button to stop it. Press the vacuum gauge button and vacuum display disappears.
    4. Remove the plexiglass cover and remove material tray from drying rack. At this point, drying work of the ordinary freeze dryer is completed.
    • Gland-type Freeze Dryer
    1. Place the pre-frozen vial (in the tray) into gland drying rack. Place the rack over cold trap and cover it with gland plexiglass cover. Lower end of glass cover should make full contact with O-ring.
    2. Tighten the vacuum valve and press the vacuum pump button. Then the vacuum pump will work and the vacuum will drop rapidly. It is normal for vacuum degree to drop below 15Pa, at which point lyophilization begins.
    3. After material is completely dry, turn the handle above plexiglass cover to rotate gland ball screw in the cover to move the original plate down. Press bottle cap into bottle, stop the cap in vacuum.
    4. Inflate, turn off the pump, and remove the plexiglass cover. Remove the material bottle for storage.

The freeze-dried material is easy to be stored for a long time, and after adding water, it can return to the state before lyophilization and maintain the original biochemical characteristics.

    Tips: Common faults and troubleshooting for vacuum freeze dryer.

    • Vacuum degree of the vacuum freeze dryer is unable to achieve less than 10Pa.
    1. Check the connection between vacuum pump and main body of the freeze dryer, and check whether the clamp is properly tightened.
    2. Check whether the vacuum pump works normally and observe whether the pump oil is clean.
    3. Check whether the vacuum valve is tighten.
    • Temperature of the vacuum freeze dryer cold trap is too high.
    1. Ambient temperature is too high and heat dissipation is poor.
      Please place the vacuum freeze dryer in a place with proper ambient temperature and good ventilation.
    2. If the refrigeration system is faulty, refer it to a professional technician for handling.
    • Oil leak from vacuum pump of vacuum freeze dryer.
    1. Check the freeze dryer fuselage and replace corresponding accessories.

    I am very glad to write this good rate because it is really worth it. The vacuum freeze dryer machine is very easy to use and clean. This merit really moves me because I really dislike  to do cleaning. However, this machine doesn't bother me.
