    Water Booster Pump Installation Tips

Nowadays, the real estate development trend is increasingly prosperous, and the building floors are generally on the high side. Many people choose high floors when buying a house, because the view and lighting of high floors are good. But the pressure of tap water on high floors is definitely not as high as that of low-rise residents, so many families will install a booster pump to safeguarding of water supply. So how to install this booster pump? What should be paid attention to when installing a booster water pump? Let’ have a look together.

How to Install Water Booster Pump?

    1. The booster pump can be installed in both vertical and horizontal ways. When installing, install the booster pump of the water heater on Water booster pumpthe pipeline with water flow, and ensure that the direction of the water flow is consistent with that of the arrow indicated on the booster pump body. And try to install the booster pump as close to the water possible or higher than the pump, so that the booster pump can function as much as possible.
    2. A pressure gauge needs to be installed at the water outlet to check the head and flow at any time to prolong the service life of the booster pump. At the same time, install an additional valve on the outside, if there is any problem in the later stage, it will be more convenient to repair.
    3. The pipe joint between the booster pump and the faucet is not allowed to leak, otherwise the booster pump will be in working condition for a long time. There is a small switch head on the motor of the booster pump. When the water source is too small to start the automatic controller, you can press the automatic switch to force it to start. At this time, the cover of the automatic controller should be installed in the horizontal direction.

    Precautions of Installation

    1. When installing the water booster pump, install it horizontally or vertically in the "Installation Mode" display. The direction of water flow should be consistent with the direction of the arrow on the pump body, and it should be installed at the lowest position from the water level as much as possible. For ease of use and maintenance, a valve should be installed on the inlet pipe of the booster pump. When the liquid level to be sucked is lower than the upper surface of the impeller of the pump, the booster pump should be equipped with a check valve, and the outlet end should be connected to a pipe for water diversion. When using for the first time, fill the pump with water and tighten the screw plug. The pipe connection should be tight, especially the water inlet pipe should not leak, otherwise the head of the pump will be reduced or the water will not be pumped. Don’t run continuously for a long time before the pump chamber is not filled with water, so as not to damage the seal.
    2. The motor coil is equipped with a safety protector. When the water booster pump fails or the water cannot be pumped and the temperature of the motor exceeds the specified value, the circuit will be automatically cut off. After the fault is eliminated, the motor temperature rise will automatically resume operation. The booster pump motor is a capacitor-operated motor. The rotation direction of the pump has been adjusted when it leaves the factory. If you need to replace the capacitor or re-wire it, you need to connect according to the arrow direction mark on the pump body.
    3. To ensure safe use, a three-way safety socket with a ground wire must be used. When the pump is found to be leaking, stop it immediately to check to prevent internal leakage. If there is water leakage at the connection with the motor, the mechanical seal should be replaced. Check that the power supply is on or not. Check whether the power supply voltage matches the working voltage of the pump.
    4. When the booster pump can’t pump water, install the pump on the tap water pipeline. If the tap water level is below the upper plane of the impeller of the pumps ( horizontal installation) or below the centerline ( vertical installation), the power should be turned off at this time. Wait until the water level of the tap water rises above the impeller plane or the center line, and then turn on the power to avoid damage to the parts (automatic type doesn’t need to be turned off).
    5. When the pump is used to siphon well water, it is necessary to check whether the water inlet pipeline is leaking. When the water in the pump cavity is not enough, it should be filled with water. Check whether the water absorption distance is too long, and adjust it appropriately. Check whether the diameter of the inlet and outlet pipes is too small or blocked. After the automatic type is used for a period of time, its failure may occur, mainly due to the long-term precipitation of metal products such as steel rust in the water pipe. After turning off the power, remove the switch, unscrew the upper screw, take out the plastic sheet and clean it, then reset it as before, and it can be used again after normal debugging.Booster pump installation
